Cave Team Completes MRA Technical Rescue Re-Accreditation

The California Region of the Mountain Rescue Association held its annual re-accreditation. This year was technical rescue, and it was hosted by Sierra Madre Search and Rescue in Joshua Tree National Park. The Cave Team successfully completed a technical evacuation, personal rope skill assessment, pick-off rescue of a stranded climber, and the medical care and evacuation of a severely injured climber.
